I currently provide virtual therapy to clients located in Florida, Minnesota, and out-of-network in South Carolina.
Because mental health licensure is state-specific, you must be physically located in a state where I am authorized to practice at the time of your appointment.
-
No. You do not need to arrive with a formal diagnosis or know exactly what is going on. Part of the initial assessment is understanding your symptoms, patterns, and goals and determining whether my approach is a good fit for your needs.

ERP should be challenging, but it should also be collaborative. We will work together to identify meaningful treatment goals and gradually practice exposures that are appropriate for where you are in the process.
ERP is not about forcing you into your biggest fear or intentionally overwhelming you. It is about learning that you can approach discomfort and uncertainty without relying on compulsions or avoidance.

Yes. Private-pay sessions are available at a rate of $175 per 60-minute session. Private pay may be a good option for clients who prefer not to use insurance or whose insurance plan is not currently accepted.
If you have out-of-network benefits, you may also be eligible for reimbursement from your insurance company. I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to learn more about your specific benefits.

No. As a licensed mental health counselor, I do not prescribe medication. If medication evaluation or management would be helpful, I can encourage you to speak with an appropriate medical or psychiatric provider while we continue working together in therapy.

Reclaim Counseling is a fully virtual practice and does not currently offer in-person sessions. All appointments are conducted through secure telehealth, allowing you to attend therapy from a private and comfortable space that works for you.

Treatment often begins with more frequent sessions, typically once or twice per week depending on your needs and symptom severity. This allows us to build momentum early in treatment, develop a strong understanding of your symptoms, and begin consistently practicing new skills and response prevention.
As you make progress and become more confident applying what you have learned independently, sessions can gradually taper to every other week or less frequently. This progression is intentional. The goal of therapy is not to create long-term dependence on frequent sessions, but to help you build the skills and confidence to navigate challenges on your own.
We will regularly evaluate your progress and adjust session frequency together based on your individual needs and treatment goals.
